Prerequisites

To be eligible to enrol in a subject students must have met all the prerequisites for that subject, or have approval for waiver of the prerequisites from the Head of Discipline.

Information about prerequisites for each subject is available on the detailed subject list on My Summer Study.

Students must apply for a waiver online at the time of application through My Summer Study.

Faculty course completion rules may require successful completion of specific subjects to fulfill degree requirements. It is the student’s responsibility to check with the relevant faculty that a subject has been waived as part of a prerequisite and that the student can still meet the course completion rules to qualify for their degree. This may include having to complete the subject at a later time.

Although a student has approval to undertake a subject from a Faculty or Head of Discipline, this does not guarantee a place in that unit of study.

WINTER SCHOOL: Students currently enrolled in this subject in Semester 1 2010 are not permitted to enrol in this subject for Winter School.

NOTE: All students enrolling in Economics and Business units who need prerequisite permission should apply through My Summer Study. Students are not to lodge forms directly with the academic or departmental office.
