Facilities and services
During the months of December, January and February, the University's campuses are in 'close-down' mode, with students taking advantage of this break between semesters to visit home or take a holiday.
Summer School students benefit from this quieter period as facilities and services remain open and the University's extensive parks and gardens provide quiet areas for study and contemplation.
Access is provided to a wide range of facilities for accommodation, IT labs, libraries, sport and recreation.
The venue for Summer School classes is our central campus, Camperdown/Darlington, which is located less then 3 kilometres from Sydney's central business district, making it an ideal venue for both study and taking in the sights.
Health care
The University's health care units are open at the Wentworth Building throughout January and February between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
Wheelchair access
The University of Sydney has recently undergone significant improvements in areas of disabled access. Wheelchair access is now available to The Sydney Summer School office in The Institute Building. Entry is to the rear of The Institute Building and in front of the Storey Dixon Building.
Further access information is available on the University's Disability Services Unit.
